Bachelor of commerce
A Bachelor of Commerce, abbreviated as B.Com, is a three year under graduate B.Com degree programme spread over six semesters imparted in regular mode of K.J. Somaiya College of Arts & Commerce (Autonomous). In the B.Com, learners are taught core subjects related to Commerce and Business Studies, Accounting, Auditing, Taxation and Business Economics. Besides, learners are given option to choose from a few elective subjects to have cross-over learning.
B.Com is the best option and ideal for learners for pursuing career in Commerce and Management, Accounting & Finance, Banking & Insurance etc. Though, the Bachelors of Commerce degree is a foundation to P.G. Degree and Master’s Programme, but the average starting salary of a B.Com graduate is Rs 2,00,000 p.a. and upwards.
